From October 14 to 17, 2019, it was time once again for the Becker Group to open its doors to interested customers. Under the slogan “Robotics Days”, the company presented a unique variety of intelligent and flexible automation solutions from the fields of packaging technology, feeding, palletizing and sorting.
More than 50 customers took advantage of this opportunity and, together with the specialists from the Becker Group during individual appointments, they witnessed robots from Kawasaki, Kuka and Stäubli in action in various application examples. Among other things, there was a system for automatic palletizing of buckets, two applications for feeding machining centers with workpieces, palletizing fiberboards, a fully automated packaging system for variable length products and a sorting cell for sorting and palletizing round small parts.
The positive response to the Robotics Days reflects that the decision to further expand this field was absolutely right, and that the customers’ need for individual solutions—based on standardized modules—is currently very high. Visitors particularly appreciated the combination of know-how in the field of robotics, flexibility in the programming of robots as well as the special mechanical engineering to fulfill customer-specific requirements.
It was particularly pleasing to see that many customers came prepared to the Innovation Days with exact inquiries in the field of robotics. This allowed them not only to look at the systems on site, but also to discuss individual solutions for their applications with the Becker automation specialists in a project meeting and to directly arrange the next steps.
